Heute war's ein schoener ruhiger Tag mit 'nem Ausflug nach Burg Ravenstein und Mittagsessen beim Lamondi im der Stadt. Schoen ist es noch auf dem gruenen Huegel zu sein. Die Leute im Theater sind so nett und freundlich. Die Proben mit Kirill sind fantastisch. Er weiss genau was er will, und kann alles den Saengern mitteilen: ein Dirigent des ersten Rangs. Wir hatten das Konzeptions Gespraech und die ersten Proben mit Herrn Castorf. Eigentlich, die Ideen sind interessant, aber wir muessen irgendwie sie sehr klar darstellen: Nie eine einfache Aufgabe.
Today was a peacefulday off with a trip to Burg Ravenstein and lunch at Lamondi's in the city. It's nice to back in Bayreuth. The people in th theatre are so nice and friendly. The rehearsals with Kirill are fantastic. He knows exactly what he wants and is capable of communicating it to the singers: a first class comductor. We've had the Concept meeting and the first rehearsals with Herr Castorf. Actually the ideas are interesting, but we must somehow represent them very clearly: not an easy undertaking.
