Milano - Teatro alla Scala

It is as Siegfried that Lance Ryan returns to Teatro alla Scala, Milan, in the spring of 2013. La Scala's music director, Daniel Barenboim and M° Karl-Heinz Steffens will conduct performances of Götterdämmerung and Siegfried.

Bayreuther Festspiele

Lance Ryan will be Siegfried in the new production of the "Ring" opening the 2013 Bayreuth festival.

Kirill Petrenko will conduct, Frank Castorf directs.

Wiener Staatsoper

Lance Ryan returns to the Wiener Staatsoper singing Don José|Carmen in September 2013.

Deutsche Oper Berlin

Lance Ryan returns to Berlin's Deutsche Oper singing Siegfried in two Ring - cycles.

The september performances will be led by Sir Simon Rattle, while those of january 2014 will be conducted by GMD Sir Donald Runnicles.

Oper Frankfurt

In Octobre 2013, Lance Ryan will debut the role of Tannhäuser. Performances at Frankfurt Opera will be led by Constantin Trinks.

Göteborgs Symfoniker

On Novembre 21st and 22nd, Lance Ryan will sing the tenor solo in Britten's War Requiem under M° Kent Nagano with the Gothenburg Symphony.

Oper Frankfurt

In april 2014, Lance Ryan will sing his first Tristan. Performances at Frankfurt Opera will be led by Constantinos Carydis.

Hamburgische Staatsoper

In December 2014, Lance Ryan will give his debut at the Hamburg State Opera, singing the title role of Tannhäuser under the baton of Bertrand de Billy.

Endlich! Letzte Probetag an der Probesaal Ansaldo. Übermorgen probieren wir im Theater. Nun, Fehlt's nur den Maestro. Er kommt Montag an, und dann würd's, wie eine echte Prodution fühlen. Morgen ist frei und gehen wir zum Veganischen Bäckerei. Sacher Torte, Tempei und Tofu von eigener Herstellung. Probieren wir auch morgen ein Japanisches Restaurant aus. Das Wetter ist jetzt etwas kühler, aber, Gott sei Dank, der Nebel ist noch nicht dran.

Finally we're out of the rehearsal stage and on Thursday we start in the theatre. It will be really nice when Dudamel gets here and we can really start working. I reaally feel we're at the stage we can start putting it all together. It's never easy to do a long rehearsal period for a revival. Once it's stage you want to get on stage to start making it your own. We're almost there.
